    Learn the fundamentals of knitting in this intro to knitting, including casting on and off, increasing, and decreasing and simple knit and purl stitches

  • Dyeing Red with Botanicals

    This workshop will explore the natural sources of red from plant, animal, and mineral sources. We will expand our red options using different modifiers and additives and look at the importance of temperature and water in this deep dive into one of the most important historical colors.

  • Intro to Mushrom and Lichen Dyeing

    The woodlands around us contain a trove of natural dye materials. Typically thought of by foragers as edibles, mushrooms can produce amazing colors. When lichens are collected as dye stuffs, the color palette expands, containing some phenomenal colors.
