Front Range FAB - Carding Art Batts
Want to learn to make art batts for spinning or felting? This class will teach you how to use a drum carder while exploring color and texture in various styles of art batts. You’ll learn different techniques for batt making and what materials work well in art batts. In addition, you will get to try a range of manual drum carder brands.
Experience Level: Beginner
What you need to bring: A sense of adventure and humor.
Recommended: Pull long hair back. Avoid clothing with dangly bits like hoody cords, scarves,
and loose long sleeves. Make sure your tetanus shot is current.
Supply fee to be paid to instructor at time of class:: $55

Class Schedule: Friday 9:00-4:00 (Lunch 12-1)

This year we will be ordering box lunches for the mid day meal. Anyone, halfday or full day can add the “workshop and lunch” option to their workshop registration.. If you are taking two halfday workshops in one day make sure you only pick the lunch option once (unless you are really hungry, we won’t judge!) I will send out a form for lunch choices in June.
