Bare Yarns
These bare yarn options are the same great bases I use in my own botanical dyeing and weaving. I have hunted for great yarns full of texture for weaving little tapestries and larger woven works. This is my favorite collection of diverse yarns. Each will bring its own personality to your fiber art experience.
25 yard mini skeins
Rayon Chenille - sport weight. Great drape and so soft.
Shaniko Wool - light worsted weight. Fully traceable US grown and raised, a great “basic” yarn.
Mercerized Cotton - lace weight. Smooth and lusturous, great for warp or weft.
Cotton Bouclé - aran weight. A soft and consistently textured yarn.
Organic Pima Cotton - dk weight. Soft with just a touch of halo. Great for warp or weft.
Organic Merino - worsted weight. Another great “basic yarn.
