Fiber Tools

All Timber and Twine fiber tools are finished with a non toxic finish, Tried and True Danish oil. It is a polymerized linseed oil that should need little care. You can wipe off with a damp rag or a touch of Murphy’s oil soap. If the wood seems to be drying out it can be refreshed with many products on the market. I recommend the ones listed below because they are non-toxic but they do take longer to cure because they have no V.O.C.s to speed drying time.

Be aware any pure tung oil is non toxic but if it says tung oil “finish”, it is not.
